DJI has launched two new drones Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom introducing Optical zoom feature in Drone. Mavic 2 Zoom has dolly zoom feature to capture more cinematic shots, and the Mavic 2 pro comes up with a 1-inch sensor and an updated 10-bit Dlog-M colour profile for more realistic and colourful videos. Also, DJI has improved the aerodynamics for extended battery life.

DJI and Hasselblad both came together, and DJI Mavic 2 Pro is the result. A new era of Drone Photography has been started with the new Mavic 2 Series. The following features are introduced in Mavic 2 Zoom and Pro:

Omnidirectional Sensing

Mavic 2 series comes up with omnidirectional sensors for a more safer and secure flight. This series comes up with ten sensors to detect obstacles above or below them. These sensors make it more guarded than ever. Mavic 2 can identify obstacles and re-route its path whether it is in track mode or returning to home.

Hyperlapse

A new intelligent flight mode is added in these revolutionary drones, i.e. Hyeprlapse. Moving time-lapse looks more fascinating and cinematic.

More Quieter & An Extended Battery Time

DJI has improved the aerodynamics of the propellers making a more quieter and a longer flight time of 31 minutes. The improved aerodynamics make the Mavic more stable and more peaceful even in high winds.

Mavic 2 Zoom Unique Features

SuperResolution

Mavic 2 zoom is capable of capturing 48 MP super-resolution pictures in stable mode. Mavic 2 Zoom captures nine images from a centred subject and then combines them all to produce a 48 MP super-resolution picture with each smallest detail.

Dolly Zoom

Mavic 2 zoom comes up with Dolly Zoom feature to capture the more cinematic shot. This amazingly new zoom feature enables a 2X optical zoom to obtain with more closeness without any loss in the quality.

Mavic 2 Pro Unique Features

One Inch Hasselblad Sensor

DJI and Hasselblad both came together and inserted a One-inch sensor in such a small camera to capture more light and colours to produce a better than ever picture quality. Mavic 2 Pro, being so little, has a 1” sensor and deliver excellent picture quality in its shots.

10-bit Dlog-M Color Profile

In Mavic 2 Pro, there is an updated Dlog profile which is 10-Bit Dlog-M Color profile capturing more realistic colours. The updated Dlog captures more realistic tones and makes it perfect to share your videos instantly.

Also, A newly designed OcuSync 2.0 video transmission system enables a more stable connection between the drone and its remote controller. The system features stronger interference resistance and auto-switching capabilities that supports both 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz frequency bands with the ability to use different frequencies for uplink and downlink data streams. It delivers 1080p video transmission feeds at a distance of up to 8km, allowing you to instantly edit and upload Full HD footage directly from the video cache in the DJI app on a broader variety of situations. Original resolution photos in JPEG can be saved directly to your mobile device, so you can immediately share what you create without the need to transfer files from the drone. Mavic 2 series starts a new era of Drone Photography.
